Leadership is a progression by which a person influences others to achieve a goal and directs the group in a way that makes it more structured and coherent. Leadership can be apart of different aspects of someone’s life, whether it is presidency, parenting, or work. Strong control, management, and authority characterize the authoritarian leadership style. This type of leader gives clear expectations for what needs to be done, and how it should be done, assuming that the leader knows everything and knows what is best for the organization. These leaders can be arrogant, intimidating, and egotistical, which leads the employees or workers to be ignorant and lack motivation. Decisions are made without communication with the group, without allowing any questions and feedback.
